The Kaabo Wolf warrior 11 is Kaabo’s most powerful electric scooter with a drivetrain borrowed from the mighty Dualtron Thunder.
Your eye will probably catch the big front hydraulic fork first, reminding you of a motorcycle, as well as the exoskeleton chassis, wrapped around the scooter in a tubular form.
Even though it was primarily designed as an off-road monster, on slick tires which are optional, you will also find an alternative to many conventional long-range vehicles. You will get from A to B very fast if you dare and have the skills.

Pros & Cons
PROS
- Seriously Fast
- Great Off-road Suspension
- Powerful MiniMotors Drive Train
CONS
- Heavy
- Big when folded so can be a bit cumbersome to get into a car or other transport
Speed & Acceleration
Oh yes definitely! A lot of both! This is one of the fastest electric scooters around. The top speed is a whopping 50 mph (80 kph) and the acceleration is scary. In dual-motor turbo mode, it does 0 to 15 mph (24 kph) in 1,9 seconds with an average rider weight of 165 lbs (75 kg).
You will reach 40 mph (64 kph) in 9,4 seconds and top speed in about 11 seconds depending on your weight. Make sure to bend your knees as both tires will be spinning when you pull the trigger throttle. But they will still provide plenty of grip to propel you forward.
And a word of warning is appropriate. There is zero throttle lag. The response is brutal as soon as you touch the throttle. If this is the first time you are riding such a powerful scooter, it would be wise to start in single motor mode before you get used to all that explosive performance.
And we definitely recommend a certified motorcycle helmet as the only choice of head protection for the Wolf rider.
Hill Climbing
With all that motor power in hand, 5400 watts, even steep hills are almost a joke for the Wolf Warrior. It will climb and it will climb fast and without hesitation. Even in a 10% slope, with average rider weight, you hit 25 mph (40 kph) within 65 yards (60 meters) or so.
Even 30% inclines are on the menu for this Wolf.
Range
A premium LG/Samsung 60V 35Ah (2100Wh) battery promises a range of 60 miles (96 km). And if you ride in single motor eco mode and try to avoid aggressive riding, you will be able to come close to that in real-world circumstances.
That is some serious range and means that the Wolf is not only a possible last-mile solution, but maybe an all-mile solution.
Motor Configuration
The Wolf has dual motors that produce 2400 watts of continuous power in combination with double 40A controllers and a peak power output of 5400 watts. That’s part of what makes this electric scooter one of the most powerful scooters on the market.
Construction & Build Quality
The design and build quality are on par with Wolf’s performance. It has an aviation-grade aluminum alloy exoskeleton-like frame forged in one piece. The benefit of aluminum is that it is lighter and more rigid than steel. Cables and wire routing are done up nicely with strain relieved housing keeping it all together and ensuring longevity.
The structural component is Kaboos design and the rest have been MiniMotors responsibility.
It looks stunning if not menacing. Like something out of a Mad Max movie. The Kaabo Wolf Warrior is a proper off-road scooter that can tackle virtually any terrain, and it does feel rock solid.
Online reviews mostly verify this. All that thrashing around however will eventually have something show its true colors. The one main issue reported is a single screw, prone to falling off. It holds the central headlights and mudguard in place.
There is no type of off-road electric scooter in the same category that doesn’t suffer similar issues.
Active off-roading at the speeds this e scooter is capable of dictates making sure all screws are tightened and preferably secured with thread locker. Downhill mountain bike riders know this procedure too. Active riding will shake things about. Always inspect between rides.
Suspension
All that hard riding over rough terrain means you have to have top of the line suspension. And the Wolf does not disappoint. Dual hydraulic shocks in the front and dual spring suspension system soak up imperfections in the terrain with remarkable ease.
It’s perfectly balanced. Not too soft yet not too stiff.
Ride Quality
The outstanding suspension system and Wolf’s ample ground clearance make you feel you can go just about everywhere. The ride quality is nothing short of supreme. Make sure to get the right tires depending on where you plan to ride. More on that below.
Wide aluminum downhill style adjustable handlebars have a good ergonomic position. The EY3 LCD throttle, brake levers, horn, and power control buttons are the only thing on here. Neat and tidy.
The stem is adjustable but, if you are a very tall rider, you might feel it sits a bit low.
Lights
On such a heavy-duty electric scooter there is no need to skimp on lights. The Wolf warrior has two LED super bright headlights. A proper big red LED taillight, as well as ground effect and side deck lights. You will be seen and be able to see very well even in pitch dark circumstances.
The front lights have three different modes; bright, low, and blinking. You can adjust them horizontally or vertically.
Brakes
All that power and speed means you have to be able to stop properly as well.
Dual front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with massive ventilated calipers will ensure that. With the touch of two fingers on the perfectly calibrated and high-quality brake levers, you can brake fully without losing control.
It also has a so-called “electronic anti-lock brake system” (eABS) which is not the same as ABS on a car. When you start braking, the system activates a pulsating electronic brake. It is not to everyone’s liking and you will probably not need it. The hydraulic brakes are superb enough.
Portability
The Kaabo Wolf Warrior weighs 99 lbs (45kg) which is heavy as far as electric scooters go. The stem does fold down allowing for transport in an SUV, truck, or station wagon, but you won’t be carrying this on a bus many times. It is not an everyday ultraportable commuter and was never meant to be.
Folded, it is 60 inches (152 cm) long and will be a challenge to fit into many cars’ trunks.
Tires
Here is where you have to make a decision depending on where you plan to ride the most.
The Wolf Warrior comes with either 11 inches (27,9 cm) knobby off-road tires or the same size slicker tires.
The off-road tires will be the wrong choice for tarmac and smoother surfaces. You will spin a lot, especially under acceleration, due to less of a contact patch. But on rough terrain, they are heaven.
The smoother tubeless pneumatic tires are the way to go if you don’t plan to go off-road at all. They are more stable at higher speeds and have better overall traction on the tarmac and other similar surfaces.
Deck
Big deck with ample space and covered in a rubber mat to balance on when you fly through the forest trails. The exoskeleton like frame surrounding the back end is strong enough to stand on and also comes in handy when you need to lift this beast.
Display
The EY3 display is very popular and is being used by some other manufacturers as well. It features a large LCD screen with three buttons to select gears, mode, power, and a trigger-style throttle.
Water Resistance
The Wolf has an IPX4 rating which means it is resistant to water splashes in any direction. You can use it in rain but not completely submerge it in water. And chances that you will be riding in the wet are big. After all, this is an off-road long-range powerful scooter, and venturing out and having fun will happen in different types of weather.
Reliability
The Wolf Warrior is a very reliable electric scooter and not many issues have been reported from the field.
Known Issues & Solutions
Nothing really to report. The Wolf warrior has proven to be a solid machine all around.
No major upgrades have been needed since it was launched.
The upcoming Wolf GT will have some additions and a longer stem.
Conclusion
The Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 is a fantastic scooter period. It feels like a mix of an off-road dirt bike, mountain bike, and electric scooter all rolled into one.
It looks brutal, rides brilliantly, and packs a big punch. This is taking the electric scooter to a different level.
